Well this has happened a lot and the screen that pops up says that if it was not the first time you've seen this then do stuff(I never read that stuff). The most strange thing that happens is before the computer freezes the computer's tower will emit a clicking noise that proceeds until the system freezes. What can I do? :)

Hate to tell you this, but your hard drive is probably dying or dead.

Stop rebooting, run, don't walk, to the nearest PC repair shop and see what they can do, have them recover you data, at least.

A clicking sound followed by a blue screen is probably an indicator that your hard drive may be failing. I would strongly urge you to back up your important data ASAP and consult tech support to get the drive replaced. If the system is fairly new, you may still be covered by warranty. If not, it'll be up to you on whether you want to get a new computer or simply replace the hard drive.

Yeah, Beck likely has it right. The clicking noise is a sure sign of hard drive problems. Physical surface or mechanism problems, not data issues. If the platter can't be read consistently, you may end up losing data, though. Best to back up your critical stuff immediately to another medium like a CD, DVD, or another hard drive. I would not reuse this hard drive.

Just take it into the shop....I had similar issues with mine recently and it saved a lot of headaches and trouble by just paying a tech to fix it. It shouldn't cost your more than $80.

Might try a simple fix, right click, Properties>Web deselct Active Desktop, should be fixed, if it is, then back up all your data, then you can reformat and put all your settings and stuff back in.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.
