there was talk of chris webber going to the lakers but he signed with the pistons pending his physical

There were rumors that Andre Miller could be traded from the 76ers to the Lakers if Miller's contract doesn't work out. I see this as false because think about it why would the 76ers trade Iverson for Miller if his contract didn't work out in the first place. Of course Webber signed with the Pistons, so I don't see the Lakers making any moves.

Webber would never have been "traded" to the lakers
he was waived and became a free agent
the lakers will remain in talks with teams about players as every good team should but won't make any moves unless it helps them a lot
they sound pretty happy with their roster and are playing well and this is even with 2 starters out with injuries
when everyone returns they have a very nice, deep team
