Yes, I grew up in a country where it is legal and I have never used it......there's no reason why it should not be legalized

No.... Unfortantly we know drinking and driving kills. The question is that if you add a Drug to the equation will that double the deaths of traffice accidents. And you can't say you drive better when your high. You Don't, and that has been proven. Reaction time is much slower. Your vision might not be impaired, but again your response time is slower. This will not make the roads safer. If you have children (just little kids who rely on adults to take care of them) I don't think have more impaired people on the roads will justify legalizing marinuana. There is enough traffic deaths. We don't need anymore endagering children and families.
Typically those who want it are selfish and are only thinking about themselves and not others who will be affected by it. The bible says Selfishness is the root to evil. That's what it say's. I hope this helped though.

Yes, the United States has the highest per capita rate of
people in prison than almost any other country on the planet.
To put people in prison for something so non-violent is
ridiculous.
Another reason to legalize it is because alcohol & cigarettes
are ten times more dangerous to your health than pot.
Actually, after an 18 yr. study, scientists have found
marijuana is positively not addicting.

It's not a straightforward yes or no, IMO - criminalising smokers is pretty stupid considering the acceptance of alcohol and cigarettes.

Keeping check on who is profiting from the trade, that's a different matter. In fact, most dope smokers who don't home grow are funding criminal enterprises worldwide - that's a much more serious issue that the topic of 'smoke or no smoke'.

There's also the issue of what legalisation means - should it come with measures to give people rational info on the drug (and the varieties of it), it's dangers (and yep, there are some, possibly more than we know now) and restrictions on it's use in public (like tobacco) - that makes sense to me. Sure there is a risk of jumping from dope to hard drugs - but I'm not convinced it's the fault of the drug, more the fault of the circles a dope smoker mixes in to buy the drug and the attitude of some smokers to his/her life.

Legalising it would bring in new tax revenues, allow better dissemination of health information, remove funds from criminal enterprise and help push up the quality of the product (back to organics anyone?). Would legalisation mean more people take it up? Good question.

Yes. It's less harmful than Alcohol, or cigarettes. And the people who are trying to say it is dangerous are the very people who making money off of it. There has been NO serious scientific studies done on it in the United States. One reason is the pharmaceutical companies. They wouldn't make all the BIG bucks off their posion if a universal safe medication like marijuana was availiable to the people. It's good for a lot of things.

yes, but only for adults, not for children

and it should come with warning messages like tobacco does

and it should be taxed so the government can make money

and it should be regulated so that only high quality stuff is available

and the anti-smoking laws that restrict where people can smoke tobacco should apply to marijuana as well

Yup. Legalize it and tax it.
Income source will pay for all the people in US prisons for using and selling it over the last 20 years.

Is it really any worse than Alcohol? Makes me cough and give me a dry mouth. Not my choice of drug.
