Mr Green Jeans, Mr Moose, BunnyRabbit, Captain Kangaroo, Dancing Bear
and wasn't there a train over some guys head and maybe a clock with a name? (I remember the first 5 characters but not real well and not real sure of the last 2)

Hugh Brannum played the Captain's main sidekick Mr. Green Jeans and other less-frequently seen characters, such as the New Old Folk Singer, who played a double bass (or "bass fiddle") as if it were a guitar, and Mr. Bainter, the Painter.

Yes, I do.

He was a good character from that show.

The captain Kangaroo Show was popular for quite a long period of time, and good for the kids growing up at that time also.

I do. I had an odd sort of crush on Mr. Greenjeans. I was about 4 at the time but I remember thinking that it would be strange for my last name to be Greenjeans and I moved on.
