No.
Catholics believe that humans have free will and can choose to spend eternity with God in heaven or without God in hell.
With love in Christ.

Quite likely they do. However the Catholics are not the only denomination to beleive that. All true Christians believe that.
The belief is a valid aspect of our faith, as we know that God will not control our destiny until we (the individual) allows it. When the individual comes to God with bended knee and hands over his/her life to Him; then God controls our destiny. Not until then. One who does not allow this will not have their destiny controlled. This does not mean that God would leave a good soul to itself if this soul has never heard of God. I'm sure there are many people on earth past and present who have not heard of Him but do every thing they could to be the best of themselves. These people are God's children too, and God will take care of them. That includes their destiny.

No, we have free will to make choices and control our own destiny. As a Catholic, I believe God knows how our future will end up, but we are the ones who make our future.

First off, Catholics are Christians. And most Christian religions accept that the Bible teaches that there are two forces at work in the world; good (God) and evil (Satan). All people are given free will to choose which will influence their actions. The topic of predestination itself, in anything more than this fairly simple form, is way too heavy a topic for this kind of forum.

Catholics believe that yes you are here for a reason but not that your destiny is predetermined. Your choices and decisions will lead you to where you need to be.

I guess it all depends on what you mean by "destiny". If, by that, you mean "predestination of the elect", then the answer is no.
God grants us all free will, so that we may choose to worship God and live a morally proper lifestyle.
This freedom 'to choose' by definition also entails the freedom not to choose God.
God respects our free will so much that he is willing to allow those who reject Him to spend all eternity separated from Him.
