I had the same problem. First let it run out of baterry then put it on the charger and try it good luck.

press the middle button and the top (menu i think) and hold until it clears... then it will just restart ( dont worry you wont lose your music) ...
p.s if that doesnt work.. than its the bottom button i forget which
