The cloudiness is the bacteria bloom which is feeding off the abundant amount of ammonia in your tank. It will take probably around 2 - 3 weeks for the water to clear, especially if you have that many fish in it, and another couple of weeks for the nitrogen cycle to complete. You need to consider decreasing the amount of fish you have in the tank for now, or you will have a high mortality rate.

I said this before when you asked if you needed to cycle the tank for these fish but I'll say it again. You can use some media from your other tank, the one with the fish that you will feed these fish to, to cycle this tank much faster. It is not only safer for the fish so you will have less deaths but the cloudiness will go away faster.

Ive stored a oscar in a 10 gallon tank yet purely for a month, additionally the oscar replaced into purely 2 inchs as i replaced into protecting it becuase it replaced into the only surviving fry from its mothers and dads. yet now it is fortunately in a 290 gallon tank alongside with its mothers and dads and is now 9 inches lengthy and 5 inches intense. in any case you're able to do it yet no longer for a lengthy time. yet for installation a tank what i did with my previous one replaced into which you enable it cycle with the decor an gravel ,etc in it. Then placed him in yet be certain you nonetheless placed nutrition in regardless of if the fish isn't in there. because it relatively is going to enable micro organism to amass. the clarification you tank gets grimy as though somebody poured milk into your tank is by technique of the fact the micro organism has too lots bio load on it. purely provide it a week then he will have a clean abode!

Usually, just leave it for a day or two to finish it's cycle and balance it's chemicals out and it should clear up . (Usually in less than a day.) 24 minnows is a lot for a little 10 gallon tank too. Perhaps you could consider less?
