We've suffered through wars, the great depression, hurricanes and hate. We have survived them all, and will continue to do so. We can ride this storm out.

I've never heard of the hate policy. Is this something new? I'm pretty up to date on whats happening in the world today but have never hear of this. If you are referring to protecting this country from terrorists, then I can hardly call this a hate policy or an attempt at creating a police state. Does the term "We are at war" mean anything to you. Sit there and say that term in your head 15 or 20 times and maybe it will sink in. This is for the protection of our country. And for your information, both Dems and Reps approve of these policies.

Actually your question is a misleading one. It is a common logical error known as a 'fallacy." You present an opinion in your question with you represent as fact.....This is sort of a 'poisoning the well' type of fallacy.
To see more about fallacies, cut and paste this into your browser :http://www.nizkor.org/features/fallacies/
If you merely eliminate the word 'hate' from your question, and then pluralize the word policy, I think you will be better served and receive much better responses...for example:
How do you think the policies of this administration (today) are working (with the public)?
Or Perhaps:
How does the general public view the policies of the Bush administration?
The problem with how you word your question is that for half of the country and the administration itself, they would ask you..."what policy of hate? We have no policy of hate, what are you talking about."
There is no policy of hate.....That is the problem with your question.
Are there bungled policies? Yes. Are we in a war? Yes. What does this have to do with a 'policy of hate'? Nothing.

The current administration is completely out of touch with the people or reality. The election results from the House and Senate apparently fell on death ears as far the right wing is concerned. I don't think a split will occur. The administration handling of Iraq is in the 20% percantile approval range. The vast majority of Americans agree that Bush Jr. is incompetent.

Well it already has split the people pretty harshly. And as for the survival of all of us. Well lets just see if the current administration gets WW III started before then. It really looks probable at this present point in time.
