What makes you like cartoons?

Question

Im writing a paper on Cartoons, and why people watch them. But I need to know what attracts people to cartoons. Like the Simpions, King of the hill, Tom and Jerry, mostly any cartoons.

I want serious answers that are more then a sentenance and a half, please. serious answers only. Try to say something different like something beside it being funny. Because if you think about it all cartoons are funny. but what made them get on T.V Why did televison studios pick that cartoon to be on t.v.

Yeah they prbaly said well its going to be funny. But you actually need more information to convince than that, if you kno what I mean.

I really like cartoons like the Simpsons, Family Guy, and south Park because they are really funny. But I also really like cartoons like snoopy (old skool) beause they are really sweet and its reallly good for families to watch together.

i love cartoons because of the humerous animated violence that could never happen in real life. For example, on Tom and Jerry when Tom gets injured, such as electrocution, he is fine in the next scene. Or in The Simpsons, Moe can babysit an infant. I mean come on, he's a bartender! That just hast to lead to a disaster!

They do things people (or animals) can't do in real life. It's interesting.

I've enjoyed cartoons, 50+ years.
Reality sux.
I find it peaceful to visit a place where a piano can fall on you and the only thing that happens is your eyes bulge out for a second.
