I am having problems with system restore and have been told this is due to my having installed Incredimail. Can anyone tell me if this is true.

Hi,
I use incredimail and have no problems at all...did you download the beta version??? It may have a few bugs. I am using it but still no problem...I can't see where incredimail would interfere with your system restore..not sure what the problem can be...but I do know that incredimail is safe to use, and I have never had aqny problems sending or recieving mail...it is much safer than outlook express.

I've had incredimail installed now for months, i even subscribed to premium as its brill. I've had no problems with it i think its good, my friend doesn't have incredimail and she receives my e-mails with all the fancy pics on and she's always jealous of how they look. I don't know if it affects system restore because i've never had to do that. The only prob i have at the mo is after you send a e-mail it gets sent, but comes back that's a pain in the rear end :)

Most of the people on this question that have problems with Incredimail, the one common thread that I see is where their hard drive is getting full. It just might be your problem. Your disk is getting full. This is why when my sister built her system, suggested she get as big a capacity drive she afford. As it was we looked, and for a few dollars more she ended up with 360GB Seagate drive (EIDE) she put into her system (a hundred twenty dollars from Micro Center, they do mail order too, but we have one local to us: http://www.microcenter.com , an Ohio based computer and parts company).

Sure, i purchased and been using incredimail for about 6 years. Never had no problems with it..

Not recommended! They don't tell you (going back a year or so)they're going to merge all your address book files (including old/backed up copies on your harddrive) into one. No fun trying to pare down to the original size with the current email addresses. I was sucked in but got out after that. I also recall a pretty big increase in junk stuff after checking out Incredimail.

yes it's safe. you won't get any spyware but there will be lots of advertising in it.
incredimail sends really fancy looking emails. but if the people you send them to doesn't have incredimail to then they won't see the email the way you intended for them to.
most likely all they will see is plain text.

Ive had it for a few years now, but lately its making my computer freeze,so debating wether to uninstall it or not myself

Don't do it! it's terrible! Then after a certain amount of time I couldn't send any emails! :-( Not good when you need to get in touch with people regarding jobs etc etc :-(
