According to Slughorn, it's toxic in large quantities. Yet he himself had taken it twice, for probably 12 hours of luck each time.

Harry only took one third of 12 hours, that is, 4 hours.

He should be able to take other 20 hours of lucky potion without any risk. Wouldn't that be enough to get the missing horcruxes? Or at least some of them, easily?

I love the books, really.

Ok, there was a whole little cauldron of well-made Felix in Slughorn's possession. And even if the potion in itself may not be enough to defeat Voldemort, it'd cause Harry to make all the right decisions in the process of getting to the horcruxes, right?

I definitely think you need more than luck to find them and destroy them. Also, the potion takes a long time to make and to get it correct. I don't think he has that much time..and he can't use a time-turner...destroyed those things.
And yes, I am a Harry Potter nerd and no, I do not think you can become a witch, Hogwarts is fictional..that's for all the people who think we are all turning into witches/wizards and trying to do spells

Slughorn himself said in the book that you should not have someting that is so good really often. I don't think that even with the Lucky potion that he could find all 4 Horcruxes. It would be far to easy and the book would be really short.

I don't think the Felix Felicis luck magic is enough to find the magic of the horcruxes. But, he might just make use of it still for something else in the last book. Time will tell.

Maybe he could, but that would be too easy.

Besides, with something so difficult and horrible as Voldemort's Horcruxes, I doubt that Felix Felicis would be enough.

Maybe he will anyway...you don't know what will happen in the last book?

Slughorn didn't give him 24 hours he gave him twelve. Plus Ron Ginny and Hermione used the rest!

I think it would take more than luck to find and destroy the horcruxes. I think the potion might work to help protect him while he is looking for them, but that it won't help him actually find and destroy them.
