I've researched terrorism before it ever became such an issue in my country (USA). Yes, before 9/11, and what I came up with is that muslims had already left the mark of terrorism on many other countries, and I concluded it would be only time before they would attack the U.S., since the U.S. allowed them to immigrate here freely. And that's what happened. So do most muslims actually view terrorism as their only solution to problems, or is it really only a minority? If so why does this minority have so much political power?

I do not see them as trying to resolve a problem so much as trying to kill people that have different religious views from them. If you notice in Iraq its muslims killing muslims it would be like Baptists killing Methodists here. Just difference of opinion. For them, apparently, its enough to kill.
Edit: When the one that gets elected ran on the platform "death to america death to israel death to the non believers" you gotta wonder about the "majority" here. We are responsible for our government. It is a responsibility of democracy, of freedom. You got to wonder about the tyrants that are elected by a majority, a very silent majority when it comes to denouncing murder and genocide. The reason the violent minority has so much power is because the majority voted them in. They are not as innocent as they would like you to believe. They are just as full of hatred, just as capable of murder as any terrorist, and this his how they express it.

It is a minority. Terrorists don't have any political power, that is one reason why they use terrorism. Terrorism isn't a solution, it is more of a struggle which the struggle is the by-product of poverty, freedom, etc..

Terrorism isn't strictly Muslims only. Any extremist is a possible terrorists such as Christian extremists, Muslim extremists, etc.. Terrorism can never be eradicated because everyone is different. The best way to combat terrorism is to play defensive and stop poverty, stop slavery, etc.. Basically, doing this will stunt the growth of terrorists from multiplying. There will always be odd apples regardless of how much someone tries to prevent terrorism, but it can be minimalized.

Muslim Religion is a religion that requires its adherents to kill infidels, so if by liberal islam you mean that they could only kill other sects of Muslims that would be a great start. Then when the last sect was standing the rest of the world could scare the two of them into behaving like civilized human beings. The Muslims have no concept of being civilized human begins. They are unsocialized misfits from a bygone age, Descendants from the illegitimate on of Abraham and a slave women. That is a good reason not to have slaves. Or conversely a good argument for abortion, if Abraham had ordered the slave to abort Ishmael then the bastard child Ishmael would not have been born and Mohammad would not have been able to introduce the world to the Bedouin moon god allah. And the Jews would not have lost so much of their land to the dog of Ishmael. I want to state that before 9/11 I had never givne much thought to Islam, after my intro to Islam on 9/11 I have become a major supporter of Israel and their need to be free in their own borders and I believe the only way to do that is to cleanse the Middle East of the plague launched by Abraham and Hagar. God Bess Israel. I favor a Muslim Free World. Do you?

Terrorism is the result of having no there way to force your will on others. Terrorist have been considered good at other times in history when they are called freedom fighters or resistance fighters. When resistance is desperate to make a statement in the face of impossible odds it does and act which is as terrible as it can to get attention for it's cause.

This in no way condones attacking civilian targets other than to say it is a desperate act by desperate groups or individuals that feel they have no voice.

You need to do more research. Terrorism has existed since the beginning of time and it has been committed by every religion, race & culture that has ever existed. Terrorists usually exist in the extremes and do not represent the majority.

You say you have researched terrorism? Spend your next vacation in the Middle East to see how little you know about both Muslims and terrorism.
Muslims are not terrorists they themselves are victims of terrorism.

First put your left hand on your right ear and your right hand on your left ear. Now give a good tug and pull your head out of the dark place it is in.
You are making the assumption that Muslims are terrorists. It just might be that a lot of the terrorists in the news happen to be Muslim.

Terrorism is in the eyes of the beholders. I don't think anyone would dispute that the Nazi's were terrorists, but they weren't Muslims.

This has been their tactics in war forever. They have never changed in eons. If you look at the terror they cause in their own people? Like Saddam he gassed them. They torture them and publicly execute in hideous ways. This is their resolve, they don't know any other way to act but to flair up and kill. They are drooling fanatics, and no matter how you try to teach them another way this is still their resolve. They need lots of meds, Thorazine and plenty of it. They are uncontrollable insane killers. Any society that rules in that fashion like South America, Africa, Mexico, etc., Look it up they can't change ever, (terrorists) no rehab. Just like a dog with rabies. They have to be put down.

If you have not figured it out yet, I will connect the dots.

Iran, sees the conflicts as a great way to destabilize other countries and distract them while they spread their attack like a cancer to such places now as Venezuela and Central America!

What Iran is after in my humble opinion, is exactly what they have stated, the Caliphate that will stretch across to the Mediterranean! How far North and South, time will tell-they hope!
