Red devil is about 2'' and has been in 10 gal tank (planning to upgrade to 55) for over two weeks. Can i add a Red Tail Black Shark in with out chances of conflict?

Not in a ten gallon tank..NO....I would wait until your 55 is up, settled and cycled....add plants and rocks...before adding red tailed black shark.

I added a full grown red tail shark in with my Cichlids that were young and I didn't know what was going to happen. He is still alive but as my cichlids continue to grow I see more and more of his fins getting eaten up. I wouldn't be surprised if he is gone by the time my fish are full grown.

My daughter has a 125 gallon tank in her living room its beautiful no dout, but she one red devil 4 inches long and one oscar 8 to 9 inches long and a 16 inch pleco, now people have said to her to put one of those sharks in and so many pro's have said not enough room. They need alot of room red devil shark !! Just food for thought!!!

A 55 gallon tank isn't big enough for both fish at adult size.

i'm able to't inform you why. yet initiate doing 20% water transformations and get some aquarium salt for now. this can help and/or decelerate what's occurring. sorry i'm able to not help previous that.
