No the person that buys the game needs to be above 18. The other person can play it as long as the parents know.

no the ratings are just a suggestion. they are suggesting to your legal guardian that they are responsible for whether or not they allow you to view the content in the game. it's not illegal to view rated R or NC-17 movies either. however, movie theatres and retail stores as well as rental stores don't want to be held accountable by the parents for allowing someone too young to purchase or view content not rated for their age range. it all depends on the parents or guardians. pornographic content is illegal to view at under the age of 18, because of the graphic content shown within it. its a part of society that some folks dont want to believe exists. once you turn 18, you make the choice as to which part of society you will become. you either know it exists and ignore it, or become a part of it.

Nope, you just need to be 18 or look like 18 or just ask someone to buy it. Then anyone can play it.
