i know that you can transfer money from your savings account and deposit it into your pay pal account. but can you transfer money from a credit card? is pay pal like a credit card?

The whole point of paypal is so that you can make transactions online without giving out your credit card number.

You can deposit money from a bank account, yes, or you can have others transfer money to you. I use it alot for my business. My second office is far away, and instead of meeting my partner to get money, he just wires it to me through paypal. Then I can spend it online, transfer it to my bank account, or have paypal send me a check. They charge a small fee, but it's a very convenient service. Hope I helped.

You can transfer money from your bank account(savings or checking) or put it on a credit card.The recipient of the payment pays PAY PAl a percentage.
