Let your child have a childhood. Some of the best years of your life are your CAREFREE childhood days, and your son wont be able to take advantage of that when your dragging him out of bed at 4am to shoot a pampers big boy pants advert, which, im sorry he will only be embarrassed by when he's older. Child modelling will bring no benefit to your son, he hasn't told you he wants to be on TV, so when hes got all these adverts etc under his belt what are you going to do if he decides he wants to become an engineer? Then uve wasted his childhood for nothing, let him decide what he wants to do, when hes older, if he says mum i want to be on TV, then fair enough, but right now i think its wrong.

I would suggest that if you want to make your child a model; without their consent. Then you would probably have to move to a big modeling and acting city. But the best action to take is to sign your child up for modeling classes, and speech classes. So that they can be ready for their auditions when one does come around.
I am sure you have the best intentions for your child, I only hope you won't push your child to hard. Especially if this is your dream.
The best times of any ones life, are the times they can't get back, especially ones innocent childhood.

in case your toddler acts, that's greater ordinary to do modeling as a exchange. yet you could seek community brokers in ny city for modeling brokers on the SAG internet site. Get a headshot and deliver it to the agent and get some paintings achieved! you spot lots of celebs commencing off at 2 years previous doing modeling, yet i could learn greater.

Agent in a big city... there are some in the midwest, Chicago, Minneapolis, Dallas, as well as NYC and LA. Other than that you're wasting your time, they have a gazillion kids right in their backyards, they aren't going to pay travel expenses for him and mom to come to a 30 minute photo shoot.

Be his agent - If you have a digital camera, take photos of him and send them out to different casting agents; even if there is no casting call. Create a website - see myspace. Exposure, exposure, exposure.....even if it's the neighborhood department store catalogue and fashion show. You will have to network. Email me for more advice.

Please don't - every time I think of child models - I think of Jon Benet Ramsey. My daughter is gorgeous, but I don't want to have her think that beauty is important. Good luck to you!
