If your car is where you can get jumper cables on it .. see if someone can give you a jump start. If you don't know anyone, some towing services will come out and give you a jump but it might cost as much as if they were towing your car though. Good luck.

I apologize for all the dumb asses that wasted your time with obscene answers.
From what I gather your engine will turn over and crank but not start, correct? I would lean toward a fuel delivery problem, If your car has a diesel engine (which some of the VW's did) then the fuel will gel up under extremely cold temps and not flow through the fuel lines.
If your car has a gas engine, I would be checking for proper fuel pressure to the engine. If it acts like it wants to start and then does not, fuel supply is the first thing that comes to mind.
To accurately diagnose the problem one would have to be there to see exactly what is working and what is not. Good Luck :)

Is this a Blond joke? Just kidding. With ant standard transmission U can get some friends to push U and U have the car in 1st, as U get rolling pop the clutch and It should start. Did it do anything when U turned the key, or just click? Cold can drain a battery. Try as I suggested & you should be running. Keep it running so the alternator will charge the battery. Hope this helps.

First of all, I think the reply is 20 km... If that reply is right, this query makes use of the pythagoras therum. that a² + b² = c². C being the hypotenuse (sp) and A and B being the adjoining and reverse aspects. When the 2 vehicles transfer 8km directly then each flip left for 6km. They create 2 triangles with 8km and 6km as 2 aspects and an unknown hypotenuse. so you employ the therum... 6²+eight²=c² This must identical 10. But the vehicles are two hypotenuses aside.. no longer one million for that reason you double 10 getting 20. Hope I would aid.

Batteries can sometimes go bad in cold weather. You may need to have it checked. In the future, it will help to have some form of warmer near the battery to aid in keeping it warm prior to cranking.

let it warm up some more, you probably have water in your gas tank, it sits on the bottom, and freezes
