I personally think that the best basketball shoes are Nike's, The Shox or the Nike Air Max, these sneakers help support your heals and feet from the pounding they will take when you play, the show especially can add around an inch to your height because they are elevated in the heel. that support is very important because if you play alot of basketball theres a good chance you will eventually get pain in those areas ... if u do not like nike's then whatever brand you prefer just make sure they have some form of extra support especially in the heal area, all brands now have one type of shoe that resemble the Shox.

Best shoes for playing basketball in are LeBrons for stability, or Kobe X or any Kobe shoes for lightweight shoes. Jordans are damn cool but not always the best.

I wear Jordan s cause I like there stiff soles which is good for better vertical jump.
