I am a huge fan of classic rock, and im 16. In fact, i know more about the music than most people who lived in that era. It surprises many people how dedicated a fan i am of the music. my favorite group is Led Zeppelin and I am most likely the biggest fan you will ever meet. Robert Plant himself is the only man who could tell you anything I dont know about the group. As for the others you listed, I love them all. Looking at my iPod, youd think i was fifty years old. Classic rock is the best, theres just no point in arguing it because its true. Theres nothing better. If only more people realized that these days!

Here I am!

Like it? I love it! I'm a huge fan of Pink Floyd.

14, by the way. Addicted since I was 11, literally listening since I was concepted. (Great Gig in the Sky anyone?)

Make your own assumptions. Maybe 95 out of 100 have heard a song by the classics, 10 say they like it, and one actually does. I'm the only one at my school that has any interest in it from what I've found. ("Pink Floyd? Isn't that that chick that wrote Stupid Girls?" Sometimes it's "Gangsta rap is here to stay. I'M A G, I'M A G!")

Anyway, there might still be hope for today's people. At least a few like it.

I'm thirteen. I like The Rolling Stones, The Clash, Queen, random songs that I know by Pink Floyd, the Ramones (I don't know when they're from), The Beatles, etc. I also like modern rock, and I'm usually stereotyped for that but I do like classic rock too.

The instrumental music for those bands are good but god I hate the girlish voices of the lead singers. Its utter BS to me.

Though I have listened to music from diff countries & languages. If the lyrics & music are good I will like the song. Yes even some country songs :D.

I am thinking techno/dance/trance/etc is gonna be the future of main stream music after this whole rap things simmers down :p.

vast B the DJ is optimal. maximum folk confuse "classic" rock, it is subjective evaluations on the subject of the perfect rock and roll ever made and could strengthen from the early 50s up by way of as we communicate reckoning on who you ask and "classic rock", the radio format, which exchange into progressed interior the early Nineteen Eighteen Eighties by using Lee Abrams which tries to ape the playlists on "underground" FM radio of the late 60s and 70s with album cuts and longer songs favored over single edit pop hits. maximum classic rock stations additionally do not play something outdoors of that greater or less 1966-1977 time span inspite of the reality that some play new track by using middle artists (i.e. new track from Steely Dan, Fleetwood Mac or The Eagles) and a few comprise track into the 80s from time to time by using employing the slogan "It would not must be 'previous' to be a classic!" i think of classic rock gets on the subject of the properly suited quantity of admire. If something, the canonization of specific musical acts/communities as "classic rock" has a tendency to make it forbidden to be intense of them even whilst deserved. Even the perfect bands positioned out the occasional stinker and that they must be called on it. My record of "undesirable" albums from classic rockers (all of whom i actually like often): Donald Fagen "Kamakiriad" Aerosmith "Get a Grip" specific "communicate" The Beatles "Beatles on the marketplace" The Rolling Stones "Undercover" George Harrison "George Harrison" John Lennon "Rock and Roll" Paul McCartney "McCartney II" Elton John "sufferer of love" Billy Joel "The Bridge"
