Its on the news so i thought id ask,is shilpa a victim of racial abuse from jade,jo and the wag one?personally i dont think so,she was quite full of herself on her audition tape so that might be why they dont like her.but i dont watch enough of it to really say and big brother edits it.

why are they suddenly putting it in the news now when they feel someone is being harassed but did NOTHING when it was Aisleyne......i mean c'mon Shilpa isn't exactly a celeb is she, doubt anyone heard of it unless they watch Bollywood.......and if she was being harassed why hasn't she walked?

In reply to Tia - why should Shilpa walk if she feels intimidated and bullied? That's the solution to every problem these days. A child is bullied, so remove it from the school, leave the bullies alone. A wife is beaten up, so find her somewhere else to live, leave the abuser in the house.
It's the three protagonists who should be made accountable. I hadn't heard of shilpa either, but just because she isn't a household name here does not mean she should be a target for three non entities who think they're special.
Shilpa comes across as very dignified, very well mannered, and articulate. Plainly and simply Jade, Jo and Danielle are threatened by her, and rather than resolve their issues in a respectful manner they've opted to launch attacks on her. All three of them are vile and disgraceful

danielle is the one who is instigating all the nastiness towards Shilpa....thw whole world might not know who Shilpa is but yes she is a celeb....know throughout the world by millions, bcoz some of u dnt know who she is doesnt make her less of a celeb. There are movies made in every country, in many languages, just coz you dont know the people in them doesnt make them non-celebs lol

Who cares, it's a bloody TV show designed to entertain the monkies that are the human race!!! If it were all nicely-nicely and everybody woke up in the morning, shook hands, had a bowl of cornflakes and spent the day watching telly even you would get bored eventually, unless some advert told you to enjoy it I guess!!!!

there are elements of racism to a small extent in the bullying from the girls, mostly from jo and a little from dannielle, but the biggest racist is definitely jack, who seems to be escaping fallout because he's so quiet about it.
he is very subtly feeding the others dislike of her, with sly little comments her and there, and in my perception, his dislike of her is fuelled by racism, while the girls main issue is their own insecurity and feelings that they don't measure up, in addition to the fact that she is from india, which to them is a completely foreign culture, so they single out the "different", beautiful, vulnerable girl.
i don't think (from the girls) the bullying is primarily a racist issue, its just that they're using anything and everything they can in their bullying.
jack, however, as far as i can see, is just being a racist.
