I feel Shilpa from Big brother is a victim of bully as well as jeolousy!?

It makes me angry to sit and watch big brother these past weeks, I dont understand why Danelle and Jo, Jade and Jade's mother treated her this way. It is obvious for us all to watch and know what is really going on. It is undivine, selfish, and ugly of those who seem to gang up on Shilpa. I only feel for those who live up to dignity and love and respect. Shame on Danelle and the so called ladies who seem to obviously target Shilpa for nothing! Jermaine is right for saying......you can't mix class with the unclass. What are your genuine views? Sad isn't it.

Thank you all who have contributed to this important discussion. I hope this will raise awareness to all and to live right do good! I am certain - when the bullies come out of big brother soon, their life will not be the same again. There are now 10,000 viewers complaints from the media and counting. Danelle, Jo, Jade, Jacky.....You are extremely ungodly, this is so shameful to live with.

lots of people are saying that the three bitches are ganging up on shilpa however there is no racism. Of course, anyone can see that there are clearly underlying racial slurs. To assume that all Indian people eat with their hands is pure uneducated ignorance (Danielle). To refer to someone as 'the Indian' (Jackie) is clearly racist and to say that Indians 'are always sick' due to chicken (Jo), get a grip! It's not only jealousy, Shilpa is clearly a successful actress, but there are other underlying issues here, you don't need to be a rocket science to work them out. It's mainly Caucasians who have issued complaints anyway rather than Indians.

I can't wait for Jo, Jade and especially Danielle- the most 2faced of them all, to leave the house. To think that they went into the house to enhance their non existent careers is a joke, especially after current episodes. If they receive a good reception, I'll be well dissapointed because they're not deserving. They should be treated with the intolearnce they deserve, the same way they've intolerated Shilpa. The only difference is that their intolerance will be deserved, whereas Shilpa's isn't.

What is Shilpa supposed to do? "...Er... sorry i'm indian, it wasn't my fault." !! Get real. I don't think that they should be kicked out of the house either. Infact, they should'nt be paid or they should be penalised by being taken through a back door- how's that for their grand exit??

im not being funny but i can honestly say i havent witnesses any racism or bullying on bb, if you was to watch the last few shows over again you would realise that the banter is between all of them not just against one person!! Is it ok for shilpa to imitate jo's accent? but not for jo to imitate shilpas? Is advising someone how to cook a chicken bullying? NO! Please stop wasting your time with this silly question, Shilpa chose to enter the show and is being paid an awful lot of money for her time, she is free to leave at any point. You possibly feel sorry for her as she is reacting strongly to words from average people, she is adored in Bollywood and she has met people who do not know her, therefore why would they roll the red carpet out for her? I am not a racist, nor do i tolerate it, but i feel you are taking this a long way too far. Bullying is child's play and bb bosses would not allow such a thing to happen on live tv!

This whole situation is absolutely ridiculous!!! Fair enough, they shouldn't have said what they said, it was out of order, but before everyone jumps on the racism/bullying bandwagon, take into account the people involved; Jade, Jack, Jackiey & Danielle - lets face it, they probably couldn't even spell MENSA let alone get anywhere near joining it!!
It is more a case of ignorance & plain stupidness than racism & bullying.

Fair enuff, ignorance is a cause of racism but there's a massive difference between racism through ignorance and racism through hatred, this is definitely a case of people being stupid & ignorant. This is probably the reason that none of the others have spoken out about it - the people involved wouldnt understand what they did wrong & it would be like talking to a brick wall.

It's horrible to see the way that the girls are bitching and bullying about Shilpa. At first I was very taken with Cleo Rocco. But the more the girls bully Shilpa the more her weakness of character is displayed. Why the hell doesn't she tell the girls to stop picking on Shilpa rather than going for her 'everyone is nice' routine! Clearly everyone is not nice - far from it!

I am also disappointed by the men. [here I'm excluding Jade's b/f who is siding with the bullies) They are in sympathy with Shilpa, but I feel disappointed in them for trying to stay aloof from the situation, or neutral. You are not meant to be aloof or neutral when someone is being blatantly singled out for bullying. You are meant to speak out if you are a half decent human being! Silence is consent for chrissakes! I do understand that men are generally fearful of criticising women openly and publicly.. but this is not a gender issue. This is a three (+ 2 active/passive supporters, ie jade's bf and Cleo) against one situation.

I'm appalled but fascinated too, to be watching Big Brother. Watching it allows me to understand a situation I was in a few years back at work, where I was being bullied. If only one person had spoken up, ie the person who knew it was downright wrong, for a start. The whole misery I went through would have been prevented, nipped in the bud.

Re Big Brother. Shilpa is a Heroine. There are no heroes unfortunately....and there are a lot of weak people who want to 'be friends with everyone' and a lot of nasty bitches!

And Davina, the ring mistress of all this. She is, if you look closely, the biggest bully of all! She acts like judge and jury, taking the moral high ground over and over...I was embarrassed and appalled by the way she tore leo sayer to bits. or tried to. The guy was clearly a mess while in there and acting a bit of a pain. he knew it himself! So what point was there in making a meal of it! Davina was picking over his bones like a ravenous monster! Crikey i'm glad I wasn't at school with her!

I have been bullied quite a lot to know the mentality of most bullies, it only takes one to start it then someone else has to join in so that they don't get picked on themselves this is a very narrow-minded and cowardly thing that these people have done and it shows that they are proper bullies for showing this mentality for completely stupid reasons. I can see why they hate Shilpa because she is beautiful and successful for being talented and not for being a stupid nobody (Jade), a has been (Jo), or a disgrace (Danielle).

Yeah i feel really sorry for Shilpa. She has done nothing, yet they have just decided they don't like her, and gone at their way to be horrible to her. It's nothing more than bullying.
Big Brother should not let it continue, but all they care about is the ratings.
To reduce Shilpa to tears, Jade scream in her face and blame her for Carole going, and some of the stuff said was not only nasty seems racist, is out of order.

ok ok ok - You need to understand that some people may be racist, and that it will never go away, i'm not trying to be negative by saying that, but take for example in the BB house. . . I#m sure Jade and whoever else is in the house because they have done nothing , Jade is famous for nothing apart from being in their in the first place, she IS jealous of shilpa for her looks and fame for real things..........but she knows that she has no right to be bad to shilpa for that, so she will do it by being racist, its very easy to be racist. Shilpa i think is a little ffragile towards people like jade , because she considers hersekf to be upper class and is not used to people saying their mind or just waht they think is their mind...

What is most unfortunate about this topic j, is the responses of people who claim that we are "paranoid", for assuming there is racism within the houehold.

No matter the evidence you throw at these people...

(Jack reffered to shilpa as "the f..king Pa..i!".)

These being just 2 examples... people are still content, to suggest their is no racial abuse.

My other is concern is the amount of posts i've read of people believing that shilpa deserves the abuse she is recieving.

Whatever these people dislike about shilpas personality, it seems to be their excuse to claim there is NO RACISM.

Any educated and Moral person i have come accross, are in agreement that the racial abuse shilpa is recieving is sick.

You find that it is usually the chavs, and the uneducated english, who find pitiful ways to put the blame on shilpa.

Poor Shilpa. The thing is the others kinda pretend to like her, smile at her and tell her she's alright bla bla but when they ain't in her presence, a lot of back-stabbing takes place but i think the only person who's able to tell Shilpa straight up that they don't like her is Jade, i mean, i'd rather have someone tell me exactly how they feel about me right in my face, as hurtful as it may be but back-stabing is worse. I understand what she's going through. People make it seem as though being a good/nice person is a crime. To hell with Danielle and her gang.

Well said.It shows me that you cannot by class and breeding.It takes a girl from India to show the racist chavs in the house (Jade,Danielle,Jo and Jackie) what class and dignity is.
Shilpa is beautiful and classy and the truth is they are jealous of her.I admire Shilpa for her strength.
We must all make a stand a make sure we vote for Shilpa to win celebrity Big brother.
