well i used to have this laptop where i downloaded music onto itunes.
I then got a new computer where i downloaded music onto itunes. that computer broke so i started using my older laptop today. i wanted to download my new cds onto my ipod so i went to my libary and it shows the songs i had on there previously. the problem is that that whatever i download onto my library will not go on my ipod. it shows the songs i have right now on my ipod under "owners ipod" . i tried dragging them into my library and nothin seems to work. how do i just start over fresh to download songs? i dont care if i have to delete.

So, the problem is obviously that the ipod is still trying to sync with a previous itunes (the "new computer") You can only have one itunes library sync-ing to your ipod. So what I think you could do is.. restore your ipod, you do this by plugging you ipod in, and in itunes you click ipod, und the "summary" tab you have the option to restore (wipes everything, you said that was ok..) Then plug it back in, and it should ask if you want to sync with you itunes library, you say "yes" it copies the files, and there you go.. also, make sure under ipod it's set to automatically sync music, and whatever else you have
enjoy your ipod,
David.

Ipods don't generally just connect up to multiple computers. You need to unassociate it from the other computer.
