You can find this information out by checking the Senate's website www.senate.gov and looking at Senator Kerry's recent votes.

U.S. companies that have employees in foriegn countries are required to follow the laws in that country in regards to employee compensation, so there is no legal requirement for Heinz to pay overseas employees the minimum wage which is required in the United States.

The vote was on minimum wage for American workers. (It has nothing to do with overseas workers.)

And by the way, it was voted in the House, not the Senate, so he didn't even cast a vote.

And when are you guys going to get over Kerry?

The Kerrys pay "sweat shop wages" in most of their overseas factories.
Not "quite" classified as slave labor.
Typical Democrat Hypocrites.
Pelosi fired all her employees that wanted to join a union.
(But the AFL/CIO still gave Pelosi thousands of dollars of union due money at election time.)

why would you ask such an asinine question? Are you THAT ill-informed?

You do understand that it was the House of Representatives that passed the bill for a minimum wage increase, and that Kerry is a Senator, and therefore could not have voted one way or the other?

Not yet. Only the House has voted, Kerry is in the Senate.

Well, smartypants...

John Kerry is a US SENATOR! That vote was in the House of Representatives.

So, no, he didn't vote for that piece of legislation.

Before you go knocking members of congress make sure you have your facts straight.

While you're at it, why don't you ask Phil Knight (CEO of Nike - probably the brand of shoes you are wearing right now and cost you 1000% more than how much it cost to actually make the shoes) about how much he pays workers in his overseas factories.

You mean did he vote to "raise" the minimum wage. I don't know. He probably voted against it before he voted for it.

most companies and employers pay the mimimum amount they can get away with and still retain employees capable of doing the job. Who knows what kerry voted for, since the media was interested in nothing but what bush told them to report on, which was something to do with some war that happened about 40 years ago.

Minimum wage laws only apply to workers in the US.

P.S. You obviously don't realize that Kerry's wife does not have any potition of authority at Heinz Corporation, proving once again that Faux News viewers and am radio dittoheads are the most least imformed elements of the populace.
