it's true, you'll only get opinions as someone else wrote previously
but i may say that over the past 50 years, the privileged people of this planet seem to wield more and more power. Both in individuals and in countries. Hence, the rich get richer and the poor get poorer.
to be fair though, history does repeat itself and the balance is restored with an adjustment. IE, the French Revolution, the rise of the Nazi state in Germany and even the collapse of the American economy in the 20's.

Well for one, you have alot of political unrest in the Middle East. Their is the constant problem of Islamic fascists who want to kill anybody from the west. Then you have your conventional issues that any democracy faces; abortion, death penalty, gun control, religious freedom and other such issues.

good policy would help social issue's but good politics is hard to find and today's problems is a list to long.
