In any search engine, you can just type in whatever you're interested in and many sites will be offered. If you do not have the Google search bar at the top of your screen, go to the row at the top that reads File Edit View, etc., click onto View scroll down to toolbars, a side screen will come up and you will probably find Google as one of the search engines there. Click on that and the bar should appear in the upper section of your screen. Just type the briefest description in the blank space next to Google and click enter or point to G Search then click and the sites will come onto your screen. There you can pick out the one(s) that sound interesting and what you're looking for; click onto each one for different info. on the subject you're searching. You can type in one word or several, a year, title of a song, famous person's name, etc.

You can do the same type of search with Yahoo (web search), ask Jeeves or "Ask" as it is called now, etc. You will get slightly different sites from each search engine, so try more than one.

While typing this, I stopped and put in the words: Search Engines --in the Google search space at the top of my screen and got all kinds of sites.

Open your browser type www.google.com. Googles home page will come up, type in your search topic and press return. In a
second it will return numerous possibilities for you to choose
from. Some other search engines are "Ask Jeeves"," yahoo",
"Ask","Amazon", "Answers", and "CreativeCommons" which
is for stuff (publications) that the copyright has expired.
remember to precede these with www. and then .com after
the name of search engine. Hope this helps you.
