How does MorariBapu's version of the Ramayana compare with Valmiki's original, both in Gujarati translation

I have been presented with both versions, and both are very massive. I do not know which version to begin with. Please give me a reasonably detailed answer as to what differences I may expect between the two books.

Valmiki's has pictures. It is overall gooder...
