i am looking at the LG enV, and the LG vx8300. i think i would enjoy being able to go on AIM, TXT message, PIX message, and FLIX message without having to pay 10 cents per message. (or whatever the cost is). i was wondering if there are any good plans out there for all of these things and if they are really worth it. im not sure what wireless carrier to go with yet though. thanks a lot

Dude, you really got to go to www.peekamo.com and register for their free service. At peekamo, you can send free TXT messages to anyone in the USA and Canada from your desktop. You don't need to know their carrier or anything. Best part is that it is free. You don't have to worry about spam either. You can create groups too. I'm from Canada where if you don't have a plan, TXT messages to the US can cost upto 15cents! Check it out - it really works and its really free. and no spam at all.

Why pay the telco's when you don't have to right!

You look like a candidate for one of VZW's IN Messaging bundles. In addition to being able to send unlimited IN messages to other VZW subs, there are 500, 1000, and 2500 txt msg packages, starting at $10/mo.

There are plans you can get, but I'm not sure of the details- my parents set mine up for me. Be careful with your IM- Once mine went crazy and turned itself on- I ended up getting charged for 800 messages @.@ Just be sure that it turns OFF when you tell it to- sometimes it gets a little weird.
