Freedom and Opportunity
How often you hear those words, but what do they really mean? To me, it means that we all have the freedom to pursue the opportunities that this great country provides. We always have the right to try something new, to find a way to better ourselves and to improve our station in life.
And perhaps most of all, the fact that we have provided that opportunity to millions of people who came to America (legally) to start a new, better life. They worked hard, saved their money, emigrated legally, learned our language, embraced and enriched our culture, raised their children as proud American citizens and gave us strength through cultural diversity.
They came here to BE Americans...not just to take what they can from America while rejecting everything we stand for.
I love America. And I love the fact the vast majority of our citizens wouldn't want to be anything other than an American.

To whittle it down to the thing I like most would be VERY hard, theres so much to love about living here. Its sad that so many try so hard to find things bad about America. This country isn't perfect, but its the best country in the world. I love that I can practice my religion freely, see the beauty of the country, make my own money with a job I choose, have every opporotunity to succeed just like everyone else, and have the ability to do as I please. I guess I would say my favourite thing would be the freedom!

Um....thats a hard one, right now being an american isnt that great at this time and moment, but I guess I like that we can really be anything we want to, and follow our dreams. And Im glad we arent a communist country....and we have more freedoms than most countries.

Whenever a socialist/commie Democrat is defeated in a election, I feel proud of America.
Whenever the Democrat wins, I am still proud of America.
(Because I know that when he screws me, he will also screw the people who voted for him.)
Because of Capitalism, we are the Greatest & Richest Nation in the World.

I am not an American yet so can't help you. I love being Armenian though... I think you should always show pride towards where you live and where you are from.

The first amendment and a free press. These are the two most important things about our country and we need to fight like hell to make sure they are never taken away or encroached upon because people try every day. That is why I support the ACLU.
