Should he concentrate on his flock, or do away with the frock?

He did give a sermon on Genesis and All Saints, unfortunately if was the Karaoke version. My mate Simon says his musical pews and apple bobbing in the font is a bit energetic for some. However a miracle occured during blind man's bluff, so they still all follow the leader.

I wonder if Pastor Parcel knows Father Christmas? Party games can be a great means of communicating with, reaching the flock in a non threatening way so may be he has the right idea.

That's a pretty judgemental question. Perhaps Pastor Parcel has sermons written into his party games? Maybe he makes connections with his parish before he hammers a lesson home.
How about asking him why he seems to prefer games to his sermons? If his goals aren't in line with yours, it might be time for you to look for a different church.

What was he thinking, getting the midnight mass congregation to play musical pews to the sound of 'o'come all ye faithfull on the organ! Jesus would be nervously chewing his nails.
He crossed the line when he told them to kneel down with their eyes closed, while he delevered his sermon!
