depends on what bluetooth software you are using. if using blue soleil which is one of the most popular just click on the orange circle in the center. this will search for your devices. when it find the device you want to transfer to click file transfer, then drag the files to the transfer list on the right, then click transfer.

When your Blue-tooth search picks up your phones signal (make sure your blue tooth is turned on and is visible) click on the name that comes up around the globe, this should be your phones name. When you have done this, the boxes at the top of the screen should be highlighted.
Double click on 'File transfer service'. This will send a request to your phone to allow incoming data. Accept the request via your phone and when you do, a new screen will appear on top of the globe on your computer.
When you have done this, minimise the screen and go to the file that you wish to send. Right click the selected file and a list of options will pop up. Select 'Cut' and then return to the file transfer window, Select which type of file you wish to send eg; music, image etc... and right click again so that 'Paste' appears as an option. Click on it and the file should start to send to your phone.

Have you tried pairing it with the phone?

Go into your phone's bluetooth memory and tell it to look for devices, then it should ask if you'd like to pair it...

Your manual should be able to help with this...

turn bluetooth on in phone, check my devices in bluetooth settings in phone, see if computer name is there, if not search new devices, use same code for both phone and computer, use 1111 easy to remember. don't forget you have to press except on your phone to allow downloads.

When i got my dongle i got blue soleil software with i, which allows me to just copy and paste to and from my phone, when it recognises your phone, double click on it and see if file transfer appears anywhere, if it does then you should be ok, Goodluck
