What powers/protection come from wearing ameythst, ankh or the "eye of Horus?"

Eye of Horus is a protection against evil as well as the ability to see truth and clarity. Ameythyst is again thought and clear mental focus but also helps against drunkeness. The ankh is an early egyptian symbol of lif and represents fertility.

The Eye of Horus is also to ward off the evil eye.
The Ankh also symbolizes eternal life.
Amethyst is just wonderful - everyone should wear it. It also calms and centers.
