you dont have to wear condoms if you want to get pregnant. no form of birth control (spermicidal foam, condoms, w/e) is as effective as several things used together.

Depends on what you are trying to prevent. Just pregnancy or pregnancy AND STDs. If the answer is the latter, condoms are still an absolute necessity because birth control pills do absolutely nothing to prevent STDs. If all you're trying to do is prevent pregnancy, then you need to be aware that the only method with no risk at all is abstinence, and all other methods are less than 100%. When used properly, birth control pills are one of the the best ways to prevent pregnancy, but they aren't foolproof even when used correctly. Whether or not you use a condom in this situation depends on how comfortable you are with the small remaining risk, and how sure you are that the birth control pills are being used correctly. Keep in mind that some medications interfere with birth control pills working properly, so it's not a simple matter.

no, the only thing that the pill "helps" prevent is pregnancy. you can get an STD no matter how you have sex if you dont use a condom, if you are planning on staying with this person for some time, go and get tested together then you wont have to worry about condoms so much and the pill will help keep you from getting pregnant. good luck

birth control pills only prevent pregnancy. if you want to protect yourself from STD's, then you should use condoms. If you're in a committed, long-term, monogamous relationship and you're 100% no doubt about it certain that neither of you are, then it would probably be ok to rely on the pill. But if you're not ready to be a parent, I'd probably use both. Both methods have failure rates, but using them together, you have a back up.

Well birth control doesnt get rid of the risk of contracting STDs and condoms have, I believe, an 80% chance of preventing pregnancy
Birth control does however have at least a 96% chance of preventing pregnancy... but no protection against STDs

For pregnancy yes, but how can you be sure that she's been taking them? Use a condom just in case. Also, birth control pills provide no protection from STDs.

no you should be completely protected...use both the birth control and condoms...you never know if either one of you has a disease. Plus birth control is not 100% effective.

Listen!
Birth control pills prevent pregnancy BUT condoms prevent Sexually Transmitted Diseases like Herpes (no cure for it), HIV/AIDS (no cure), HPV (no cure), Hepatitis, Syphilis, Ghonorrhea, Chlamydia, Trich, BV, and on and on!
Bottom line...protect yourself with a condom! There are so many people out there who:
1. Don't know they have a STD and they are infecting people night after night.
2. They know they have it and still spread it!
I will tell you like I tell my younger relatives...
Think About It...If they haven't gone to the doctor to help their own body heal, why would they care about yours? You can get an STD thru vaginal sex, anal sex, and oral sex...
BE CAREFUL MAKE HIM WEAR A CONDOM!
HIV is alive and well!
Be Smart & Safe!
