"Where I am from" - my roots are important as they influence my opinions of the world in general, my values, diet and ambitions. This provides my foundation.

"Where I am at" today is transitory - by tomorrow it will be part of my diary - part of where I was from.

Yet despite this - "where I am at" is most important - because if I don't change in small ways today - moving towards where I really want to end-up then I won't be building up these small changes into a mass large enough to make an overall difference.

Imagine today is 2 points from YA - on its own it is tiny. But without a solid base of 2 points I will never reach Level 7.

Where you are is really not that important... Some say the journey is more important, some say that you can never be more than that to which you were born, and some even say that the water is always better at the source...

However, I believe that the source and the destination are equally important, otherwise we have no way to measure accomplishment.

What we do during our life is not as important as what we did with our life...

The most important is where you grew up. Because it has a lot of influence on the person you are. You may be from Norway, have been raised in the U.S. and now live in Canada. You'll have much more in common with Americans than with Norwegians or Canadians.

Where you're from. Why? Because most of the time, where you're from is who you are. Where you're from formed your characteristics and personality and what your morals are, etc. WHere you're from isnt exactly where you were born. Where you're from is where your home is. The place and people you hold close to your heart.

Where you're at is the point of life, for the only moment that exists is now, but where you're going is it's navigation. It's direction.

Where you're at.
Where you're from may INFLUENCE where you are at but you can't change where you're from. So basically, Where you're at is what you have become. How much YOU have improved or failed. Where you're from was just where you happened to be.

Both, Its important not to forget where you're from but learn where you're from and teach others about where you're from and where you're at well it doesn't matter where you're at as much as where you're going.

both are important...where your from has helped form who you are today and you wouldnt be the same person with out it but where your at is what counts to everyone around you...you could have been born in the ghetto and now you could be a multi millianaire...so its important to you to know where your from but important to the rest of the world to know where your at now
