It's the goonies for me the only better thing about p.o.c is that Johnny Depp is in it.

The Goonies isn't a good pirate movie, since it doesn't have any actual live pirates, only dead ones, but it's a very good film. However, POC has better special effects(The Goonies was made in 1985), Johnny Depp, and lots of action. I personally like The Goonies better.

The Goonies. It's hilarious. Personally, I think Pirates of the Carribean is one of the most boring movies I've ever seen.

I really like the Pirates of the Carribean but Goonies was around when I was a kid, so Goonies for me!

The Goonies?????? Sorry, Pirates Of The Caribbean is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better. Where else are you going to see a great looking pirate by the name of Captain Jack Sparrow. I like The Goonies but it doesn't compare to POTC.

well, in a piratey way, pirates of the carribean eats the goonies alive. not even any competition, im pretty sure its the best pirate movie ever. the goonies isnt even a pirate movie, they find a pirate ship and thats it. sure theres treasure but the movie really doesnt have too much to do with pirates.. not compared to carribean anyways...

pirates of the carribean is great, johnny depp is so funny in it.
the goonies takes me back to my childhood, so i think they are both great in their own ways.
