I am writing an essay on why I would want to be Bugs Bunny for a day and I am off to a rough start. I need ideas of why he is the greatest cartoon ever. Please be as detailed as possible.

Bugs Bunny is the greatest cartoon ever because
1) He's an icon - people around the world know him.
2) He's hilarious - if not, he wouldn't have been around for over 50 years!
3) He has stood in for the Road Runner - no one else ever has!
4) He ALWAYS comes out on top - like Ferris Bueller but w/o any effort. He never gets caught, he always gets away with whatever he wants to and comes out smelling like a rose!
5) He always gets the best of Elmer and Daffy - they can never harm him - and he just wants to do his own thing - I don't know why those guys go after him, do you?
Bugs is GREAT!

I would love to be Bugs for a day. Being able to make stupid people pay for being stupid (hitting them with pies.blowing them up with TNT, covering them in glue, etc.) and not having to pay for doing it, myself. Only on rare occasions does Bugs do something to someone, that didn't ask for it in the first place. He is the pinnacle of cartoon common sense. Yes, things he does sometimes make no sense (meaning the impossible), but that is what makes him so wonderful. Most episodes start off with Bugs just minding his own business. Someone pops up and wants to shoot him, or destroy his home. So, what does he do? He lets them know that they can't get away with it, while he himself does. That is what endears him to everyone. He does what everyone wants to, and gets away with it (while we don't/can't).

With my luck, that would be the day Elmer finally catches him with a load of buckshot right under his fluffy little tail. But I suppose he could even survive that, after all, he IS a toon. Hey, that’s a good idea, right there!
