First, press Ctrl + Shift + C to open the cheat window, then enter boolprop testingcheatsenabled true. Do this while in the neighborhood view. After, enter the lot of your sim family and Shift Click on a telescope. Select Debug Get Abducted and your sim will be abducted for about 3 hours.

If I remember correctly you have to be stargazing or looking at the stars through a microscope. Be careful though because there is a chance of a UFO crashing down on your sim when you do this.

Make sims look through telescope from 12:00-4:00Am i believe

Make your sim to study the sky a lot, or look at stars. And you may get lucky.
