It is great that you want to start thinking about a job man! I do all the time. However, giving information about yourself on Yahoo! Answers is probably not the best way to figure out a job.
Your IQ of 130 should allow you the common sense of going to your high school counselor and asking for a career test.
You and I have of same interests, except for plants--they just stand there, Stargate--although I did watch part of the movie, and having a dog, you and I are identical! Pretty neat if I do say so myself.
Well, since (it seems that) we have the same interests (and dislikes) I'm going to tell you what I want to be! There are a few choices.
One and the one I'm leaning towards right now is a psychologist! I love psychology! I also like medicine so being a doctor would also be an interesting job and one that I would enjoy. I also would like to be a writer in the local newspaper.
Hope you find the right job for you!

You have very varied likes and should probably do something in techonlogy or entertainment. Here's something to think about, why not do something that involves something you already like and might be good at that still provides a challenge. You like video games right use that and your enjoyment of myth busters and combine it with technological side of the spectrum and create a videogame for myth busters. Just a thought.
Or here is something else why not try something that is out of you comfort zone and do a home business. I mean now a days if you have a computer and the drive to succeed, even if your low on cash, maybe you can do it for a while and see how you like.
May I also make a recommendation for future questions: do what I am doing and make paragraghs so that you might be able to explain more and group things in a more logic way.

You sound like a pretty typical 17 year old. Try taking general courses in college your first year, and then look at career decisions. If your iq is 130+, you are more than average.
You do not have to make a life decision at 17. Give yourself a break. You will know when you find what you want to do, at least for the time being.
Maybe you should think about being a vet's assistant, or work for a landscaping company, or some kind of construction, and try it on for fit, since you like "dirty work".
Many people make career changes in their 40's. My daughter, a highly successful business woman, went back to nursing school when her daughter went to college.

Go to college and major in a science. 130 is good enough IQ for a career in science. If you like plants and animals, then consider biology fields. Being a hard worker is more important than IQ. College is a good place for socializing too just make sure you manage your time well so your social life does not jeopardize your grades and class attendance.

I say go into Real Estate. You get to make your own hours( so maybe you will have time to ride your bike more or spend your money), you have to be funny and likeable or people wont like you or trust you, you like to help people, plus if you are good at it you can make anywhere between 100,000 a year to 10 million a year depending on how big you want to be.

I'd take a moment to actually step back and not force myself to decide on a life career. Next, visit your career and academic advisor if your school offers one. Remember you don't need to rush out to "work" you can also further your education and increase your outlook on life, various subjects, and potentially find other areas of interest.
Also, I'd recommend focusing on your strengths and surrounding yourself with people who compliment your weaknesses. Lastly take the time to read the book, "What Color is My Parachute?" (see link) so you can expand your options and consider things you probably have not thought of yet. Good luck.

if your talking about just a job for now, without a college degree, then i say pick one. theres a whole bunch of jobs out there that you can choose from. but if your willing to work to get a better job by going to college, i say shoot for med school. you say you like plants animals you like helping people and you like dirty jobs. if you major in biology that would include learning about animals plants humans and everything else biological. if you like helping people what better way than to save their life? and lastly, a surgeons job is most likely one of the dirtiest jobs ever. all that blood, and puke and such. lol but i am a bio major and planning on going to med school later on in life and i dont have an insanely high iq either. you just have to be determined to work hard.

I'd say you should be a teacher. You have an inquisitive mind. You like people, and your surroundings, and how things work. Without knowing you, I'd say it's a lock you should go into education.
