Depends on your perception of "death".....
I suggest, you consider that in fact GOD is HOW you are able to BE....
Free Will allows for you to imagine what is "real" for you... or not.
Tangible is Temporary.
Your body is WHAT you are IN, not WHO you ARE.
Death of the body is an illusion of Self.
God is all that is "real".. therefore has no need to be "proven".
God is God no matter what "we" imagine or not.
Blessings to you and yours.

So you've heard of the Death of God? Friedrich Nietzche came up with that idea, if my memory serves. Nietzche didn't believe in God anyway, and he used the Death of God as a metaphor for the end of faith in God.
You are right, he wouldn't be God if he could die. He had to become a human in order to experience death, but as God he is eternal.

God and the Greek/Roman gods are the same. He is the same as all other gods. Not to say that one cannot exist, but I think that it is just another phase in humanity. The Greeks and Romans believed an worshiped their gods as we do ours. Soon, another god will be worshiped.
