Your very sweet. In the dawn of this nation the Spanish ruled the seas and used and traded in slave labor. Unfortunately the most abundant peoples enslaved where the black Africans. Most of whom were captives of the tribal wars that raged in those times. Today most of this has been glossed over and the African Americans hold there ancestors enslavement against the European whites descendants that inhabit this land today.

What time period are you referring to when you say "back in the day"? Colonial times?
Whites and blacks did not get along because people of one race were holding people of the other race as slaves.
Seems pretty black and white to me. No pun intended.

It is a long story. It all started when the white settlers made them slaves. Then the whites could not accept them for who they are and isolate themseleves from them. If you want the whole story, then please look up "black history" on google.com and you should find what you want to know.

because if u were black you were thought as a slave. the white people took advantage of this. so that's why they didn't get along.
