I would like to go over to London for a couple of days and was wondering where is good to go on a Friday night. I don't want to go to a club, or a dive. Some where really nice and cool.

Shoreditch area is good on a Friday night because it's close to the City so everyone goes there when they are done working. There are some really nice loungey-type bars - you could either search online, or just go for a wander when you get here.
But why would you not want to go to a club? I just don't get it.

Henry's wine/cocktail bar in Covent Garden is amazing - great atmosphere in the evening.. great cocktails and just watching the bar staff throwing the bottles around and generally showing off is something else.. it's my top tip for a night out in London
