My husband and I are in a debate about this. I say it is easier for guys to break into a new all guy social group than it is for women to do the same. Women like to feel eachother out first. He disagrees. Who is right?

It is definitely easier for men to break into a new social group than women. You are right, women do like to feel each other out before committing to any group. We are, also, much more careful about who we socialize with as social status, morals, values. Now this doesn't mean we like to socialize with upper class only but we socialize with people of our own class I would have to say.

Women need a social net work. Men just want a job and a wife.
Then she drags him to social stuff when he would rather be home watching football.

I think its much much easier for men. Men arent clichey (sp) little gossip hounds. Women are really picky & hard on each other sometimes.
