I"ve been out of the dating scene for a little while, and I"m meeting a guy for coffee . What should I wear?
I was thinking my nice jeans (that make my *** look great), and a black sweater with criss-cross v-neck. Or ....????

I would try a jean or a jean skirt...something casual but like (hey i dressed up to see u) kinda outfit...i would not use a black sweater try a lighter color to show off the front as well as the back (hehe) gl

Why do women always fret about what to wear? The answer is simple and straight forward. Wear what you feel most comfortable in and what makes you feel you look best to yourself. The "look" is not the determining factor in a relationship. It's who you truly are, behind the scenes. We think we need to present a certain image. You just need to be yourself and comfortable in that self. Don't wear something you don't usually wear. It'll back-fire because you're not being yourself. So use your better judgement and don't worry about surface appearances. Do you think he's worrying about his outfit? These outside trappings are not who you really are. Keep it in perspective. Women are fed such a lot of crap about their appearances that we forget that that's not what remains in someone's mind when they think about you. They will remember you and your personality. They don't want to see you again to see more outfits! Let's all get our priorities straight! Look great, feel good, but you don't need to pull off any sort of wardrobe production number. That's not where it's at! Be you! Celebrate You! And if he no like, then another will! WE are all meant for someone, just the trick to find him! Wardrobe is a real minor factor in the whole big picture of things! Don't fall for the "cover up pretend fake put-on-the-mask" thing! Nobody needs to go there!

depending on wear u live, a blazer over a nice sweater with those jeans that you like would look really nice, maybe matched with a a nice pair of stilettoes. Don't overdo it though. Try something somewhat laid back and casual, but still fashion forward. Good luck!

No jeans. Guys see girls in jeans everyday. I have had a lot of men tell me that they dont particulaly like jeans. Can never go wrong with a skirt. Color. Wear a sweater with color. Not black. Blues, reds, pinks, whatever looks best on you. Keep his attention on you, dont look like every other girl in the place. Lastly, wear lipstick. I dont mean bright fire engine red, but whatever color looks best on you. All the guys I know love it when a woman wears lipstick. Good luck on your date. Smile and make eye contact. Most of all, have fun.

you should wear something decent yet casual... jeans with a gray or black cable v-neck would look nice... and you can pair it off with high heels about two-inches high, but nothing too chunky or elegant. and don't bring oversized heavy-looking handbags, if you're one of those people... it makes you look like you're a very busy person and will soon be running off someplace else. a small purse for you will do. and for your hair and makeup, just put in some shine for your hair and maybe somes blush will be enough.

That sounds good. You want to be comfortable but not sloppy, and you want to play up your best features. Don't wear too much makeup, either; that way you won't come across as being high-maintenance and you won't have to worry about the makeup smudging, caking, or running.

Nothing that makes you look desperate. Nothing that shows too much. The jeans are O.K but don't show too much cleavage. It will cause him to think nasty thoughts. Have a good time!

I think the outfit you have in mind would be best!!! Make sure you have on great shoes too...and maybe a great handbag...and belt =0)

wear skinny jeans, black knee high boots, a black or gray halter top, and a black necklace. wear white eyeshadow, pink lip gloss by cover girl out lasting, double lip shine, with some clinique foundation, bronzer, and a light pink blush- make sure your eyebrows are tweezed! good luck on your first date!

I like it, and since it's just coffee it really needs to be pretty casual! You don't want to over-do it after all! :)
