i live in the u.k i am a single bloke 28 years old ,i am trying to get a 2 bed council house as i have have children i would like to have stay over,does anyone know of any loopholes that may help me as the council dont seem to help

Do you mean how do you get a 2 bed place from the council instead of a 1 bed place?
You can either lie and say you've full custody of the children, I wouldn't advise that though just in case they want proof etc.
or
Explain the situation to them advising that your children will stay often to see if they will consider letting you apply for a bigger place. If you can afford the rent then I really couldn't see the problem but then again I'm not the council.

The only way the council will have a duty to offer you accommodation is if you can prove that you have some form of parental responsibility for the children, such as a Residence or Contact Order from the Family Court, or, if you receive Child Benefit/Childrens Tax Credit on their behalf.
I assume from your question that you are not actually homeless and therefore suggest that you may be able to find space for your children at your current address.

private renting or housing asociations.. The council have a shortage of 2 bedroomed properties, what did'nt help was when the council started selling the houses to there tenants at discount prices.

Try the work thing, and rent a house. that is guaranteed to work. I have four children and have to work long hours just to provide a house for them 2 nights a month. to many people are playing the system hence why there is no houses avaiable for the familys that need them.
