What Makes A Man Obsessive Over a Girl?

This is a mystery..... Why stock or harass someone? This is a phase you go through until the excitement is gone right?

This is not an attack on anyone........I just want to understand something here.

Yes, rarely is the obsession or person that someone is obsessed with about that person. It is more about the illusion that the obssessed has created. (sorry for mispelling) If someone is obsessing over or about you, it is not about how you look or how you act or what you did or did not say. It is about the obsessor's needs, wants and fantasies. Most people are not truly obsessed, just preoccupied. Even those without a mental problem are still preoccupied with the thoughts of being in love and the feelings that it brings them, instead of the person. I would have to know more, to really tell if this person is obsessed. But, if they are, you are never going to be able to make them happy, it is also about control and unless you are willing to give them complete control, this situation will not work. But, in most cases, when someone says that they are osbessed with someone, they don't really mean it. They just mean that they are infatuated with that person and they choose to focus their attentions on this person and how they feel when they think of this person. Truly obsessed people have a pattern of controling and systematic behaviors. Most people, however, who have an obsessive personality, don't acknowledge it. So, meds or treatment are not an option.

Same reason why anyone obsesses over anyone. Obsession is an unhealthy preoccupation with someone or something. Perhaps the individual has emotional problems, too much time on their hands, an unhealthy past or abuse pattern, or maybe the person has a disorder. It typically stems from something like one of these things. My wife asked me why her ex lovers had obsessed over her. I explained that it wasn't really all about HER being special to those people. It was more about her exes having some kind of disorder that had made them behave in an inappropriate, unwanted, unhealthy manner. Very creepy.

It stems from very, very low self esteem and feelings of inadequacies. An obsessive male is so convinced that if she even so much as looks at the waiter in a restaurant, she is flirting. His own personality disorder cannot allow him to see that she is just smiling and being nice. This type of man is nothing but danger, danger, danger. Women should not walk, but run from any obsessive man. Sooner or later, he will become physical.

I don't know I've actually had to deal with people like that in the past & I think it's because they finally see/met soembody that they never want to lose & they continue to have their world revolve around her...not much help because honestly I don't know....

her looks,personality which is something special that they are just too shy to ask her out. that's why a man stalks her because he could never make a relationship happen because they don't want to be rejected.
