I've been going to Batista's for 20 years now... get a kick out of Gordie (the accordian guy), and... hey... how about all the CRAP on the walls & ceilings, lol. If you want to go there again... do it soon, Harrah's is in the process of buying up that block... so Batista's will soon be gone my friend.
A baby friendly place... hmmm.... well nearly everything at CC is baby-friendly. You wont get the STARES & funnly looks from folks.
You could try OPH.. the Original Pancake House. There's one on Charleston...and one at the Green Valley Resort. Really good breakfasts there & families are almost always eating there.
California Pizza Kitchen (mirage resort) my be worth a try.
Try out LUV IT frozen custard, it's on Okey Blvd (spell??) (Oakey??) (spell?)... anyhow it's a little stand that's been there for YEARRRRRRRS. It's less than a block from the Strat tower. Good stuff. Delicious!!!

If you are staying on the strip you are not going to find such places. You will need to venture out with a car. You can get the addresses of most of these on the internet. For breakfast go to Blueberry Hill Restaurant. For other meals try: Buckingham Smokehouse BBQ, Rincon Criollo, Jamms Restaurant, Paymon's Mediterranean Cafe,Viva Mercado, Metro Pizza, Hedary's Mediterranean Restaurant, Roy's Restaurant, or redstone grill
NO MATTER WHAT! You must go to Luv-It Frozen Custard, its definitely a hole in the wall, but you will be amazed at how awesome their ice cream is!!!

When I lived in Vegas (this was 5 years ago) the best Mexican restaurant I've ever eatan at was downtown on Main. It was across the street from St. Vincents.
It had a simple yellow sign and I can't recall it's name, but I'm going there next time I find myself in Vegas.

The Wynn casino is supposed to have some amazing restaurants they might have some child oriented ones. I'd call up the traveler's bureau or the chamber of commerce.

Try the Rainforest Cafe. It is a unique jungle dining experience, great food and service, not outrageously priced, and you can tell people about it for years!
