I think it's a fun way to catch up with your circle of friends. You can easily share pictures and videos with them instead of doing a mass e-mail. Also, if there's someone you've lost touch with - you can drop them a note. I've reconnected with a few friends and it has been quite an enriching experience. If you really don't like the how public it all is, you can always switch your profile to private.

Here at the NYC Police Investigation and Reporting Dept. at East Station, we checked into the website: There are some guys out there that devised a way to make a fee million$$$. It's a business venture that worked. Their site and all its potentials paid off. Their address is 2 Pineapple Way at the beach, in Hawaii - "don't call us, we'll call you. We've got to count our money." !
And so giddy preteens and teenagers and kids in their 20's that haven't grown-up yet go to MySpace. It's easy to use (fortunately since those who use it don't know anything about computing...they still need toys)...easy to use, and you can send any pictures, use any foul language, and it lets adult weirdos make a date with gullible teenagers who end up pregnant or killed. You see there's so much going on there at MySpace that it is easily classified as Dangerous. We see bad things happening daily. Stay away from it, please. Myspace is a great place to get to know people from all around you should try it! You can actual interact with people!! You can meet new people! It's great for everyone the one's we have to watch for are the kids 'cuz they log on acting as though they are older and end up getting hurt sometimes!!!!!

The only people who really, really, really like Myspace are stupid 14 year old girls who put half naked pictures of themselves on their pages and then complain when they get messages or abducted by creepy perverted old men.

All of my single friends have a myspace account. They say it's to meet friends, which I think is a bs answer.

i don't get it either! i think it is way over rated. all my friends think i should get on it, but i don't want to. i am one of those people that doesn't want to be found by people i use to know in high school. i don't like the idea that anyone can see pictures of you and know all about your life. so your not alone. i really dont understand the big deal.

i get it. it is so easy to lie about your age. All my friends have profiles. i told them that there are creeps that lock themselves up in there house all day and look for stupid people that agree to meet them somewhere just so that they can go and get raped. it is dangerous!
