There are Privy Councillors and Chamberlains and Chancellor's. Chamberlains were of the household and Chancellors were financial and Privy Councillors were political but you might do well to check me on that by consulting a dictionary or encyclopedia/wikipedia.

For the most part, those close to the throne would have had titles of their own that would vary with the kingdom (think duke, earl, baron, etc). Depending on the court and century, there may have been something equivalent to England's Privy Council, but not necessarily. Royal mistresses set an amazing amount of policy in medieval Europe.
