In Washington you need to prove you can do a pre-trip inspection correctly and then pass a driving skills test.
You also need to have a Department of Transportation (DOT)physical. This is performed by a Doctor to ensure you aren't going to pass out at the wheel basically.
Contact the entity that provides driver licenses in your area for the proper steps required in your state.

How many do you want ?? A CDL is a California Drivers License and CDL's is plural. Licenses ??? Although there are probably other meanings for CDL.
