Find your city and place an ad. It's free.
Classified ads would work too but they of course cost money.

Register with any store reasonable near to you who sell musical instruments. My friend recently bought a piano and got a contact from the store. She had to wait three weeks to get a lesson because he was so booked up. My daughter also found her clarinet tutor that way.

My friends are 17 and they tutor people all the time. Just ask some teachers if any of their students need help or ask around town or w/e there is usually some kid that is struggling with a subject.

I suggest you print a flyer and post on the board in all you local schools and colleges. If you can afford to print off a lot ask in schools for a letter to be handed out. This is presuming you have been checked out as a suitable person to be working with children.

Take the easy way and build a web site, that way you can expand on your services and give potential clients the opportunity to email you.
