We have some in the back, that no one goes near, so none of us knew it was back there. Will they die if we tip the bucket they are skurming around in over?

Those are mosquito larve! Kill Them!!!

Mosquito larvae, provided they are indeed mosquito larvae, can survive in as little as a thimble of water. I'd say a cup of bleach should do the trick for a five gallon bucket.

White wormy things are a bit vague. But as they are water dwellers they won't like living on dry land.

Those are mosquito larvae, possible carrying West Nile virus. Pour some oil in the bucket to smother them.

Sounds like mosquito larve. If so pour out any standing water to deny them a place to breed. I feed them to my fish, who enjoy them immensely, don't know what this does to the fishtank enviornment tho.

Not Likely if it is tipped over on absorbant ground where the water won't pool.

If they are mosquito larvae tip it over and kill the little bastards before they metamorphose into flying bloodsuckers. I hate those things!

what ever they are kill them. pour some bugkiller in them.
